Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By using Knippa (knippa.app), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Knippa provides an online appointment booking platform for barbershops and similar businesses. Business owners create booking pages; their clients use those pages to schedule appointments.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create a business account. One business per account.
4. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Prices are in euros (EUR) and may include applicable VAT. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
6. Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By starting to use the service (including the free trial), you consent to the service beginning immediately and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided during that period. You may still cancel your subscription at any time as described in the Subscriptions and Billing section.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the service for illegal purposes, impersonate another person or business, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, interfere with or disrupt the service, or use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages.
8. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create (business info, services, etc.). You grant Knippa a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. This license terminates when you delete the content or your account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your content.
9. Booking Data
Business owners are responsible for managing their own bookings. Knippa is not liable for missed appointments, scheduling errors, or client disputes. Customer data collected through booking pages is subject to our Privacy Policy.
10. Availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services.
11. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Knippa makes no warranties beyond those required by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, or excludes rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Dutch or EU law.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be resolved in Dutch courts. This does not affect your rights as a consumer under mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. We will notify you at least 30 days before material changes take effect via email. If you do not agree with the changes, you may terminate your account before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
